Lee Mandel

CEO

Lee Mandel is the dynamic CEO of IntraLogic Solutions LLC, a national leader in security technology solutions for schools and school districts, utility companies, mass transportation authorities, government agencies, and large business enterprises. He is recognized as one of the nation’s foremost experts on school and community security technology.

IntraLogic Solutions is headquartered in Massapequa, New York, with offices in Albany, NY, and in Florida. IntraLogic is growing and provides comprehensive security technology services for over 2,000 schools and 150 school districts nationally. The company uses customized software, including its nationally recognized Active Law Enforcement Response Technology (ALERT) software and IP video management technology to connect schools and law enforcement during emergencies. This technology provides immediate and complete situational awareness which is used to reduce response times and save lives.

In 2018, the company began deploying cutting-edge video analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology that detects threats and protects schools and businesses during emergencies, including active shooter events. IntraLogic’s internally-developed One-Button Lockdown software can fully integrate a school’s video management system (VMS), cameras, PA system, access control system, electronic door locks, and various other hardware and software technologies into one comprehensive platform, enabling school administrators to fully automate a lockdown process with the push of a button.

Mr. Mandel has developed four-point school security and student safety plan that he advocates for in the media and presents nationally. His approach to enhancing school security is being embraced by school districts and law enforcement agencies across the nation.

He is regularly interviewed by local, national, and security industry media and speaks at national and international security industry, school safety, and law enforcement conferences. Lee shares cutting-edge information and practices with peers, always with the goal of protecting schools and the public.

Mr. Mandel’s commitment to protecting school children was reinforced after the tragedy which took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. In the spring of 2018, he was invited to Parkland, Florida to meet and speak with parents, school officials, and law enforcement about school security. These meetings profoundly impacted Lee and inspired him to donate security technology to the schools in Parkland, Florida, and lead an effort to get other companies to do the same. Annually, the company donates more than 300 free Technical Threat Vulnerability Assessments to schools and offers grant writing support.

IntraLogic has been listed a remarkable six times on the Inc. 5,000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies. To meet the demand for its services, The company has recently constructed a state-of-the-art, 17,000 square foot Global Command and Operations Center on Long Island. The center provides live security monitoring for businesses, schools, and government agencies around the globe.

Mr.Mandel is the recipient of both the Long Island Business News NY ICON and the 40 Under 40 Business Leaders Awards. He supports non-profits, including the American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Erase Racism, Promise of Hope, the Freeport Educational Foundation, and the Marty Lyons Foundation. Each year the company gives scholarships to students from local schools.

A resident of Long Island his entire life, Mr. Mandel has been fascinated with technology and started his entrepreneurial endeavors at a young age. He grew up in Merrick, New York, and, in 2000, graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Today, he and his wife Nicole live near the company’s headquarters in Massapequa.

Richie Perna

Chief Strategy Officer

Richie Perna is the Chief Strategy Officer for IntraLogic Solutions LLC., a growing national security technology solutions leader for schools and school districts, utility companies, mass transportation authorities, governmental agencies, and large business enterprises. He leads a team of professionals focused on bringing the Company’s products and leading-edge technology to customers across the United
States. During his time with IntraLogic Solutions, he has led marketing and business development efforts and strategic growth initiatives.

Mr. Perna is also responsible for leading expansion efforts both regionally and nationally. He has played a vital role in IntraLogic Solution's growth in terms of the Company’s geographic footprint, market share, client acquisition, and staffing; the company has more than doubled in size since he was hired.

IntraLogic Solutions is headquartered in Massapequa, New York, with additional offices in Albany, NY, and in Florida. Mr.Perna works with his team and partners to bring the Company’s technology, including its nationally recognized Active Law Enforcement Response Technology (ALERT)

The Company develops and customizes software as well as IP video management technology to provide schools and law enforcement with the complete situational awareness they need to rapidly respond to incidents. IntraLogic Solutions internally-developed One-Button Lockdown software can fully integrate a school’s
video management system (VMS), cameras, PA system, access control system, electronic door locks as well as various other hardware and software technologies into one comprehensive platform, enabling school administrators to fully automate a lockdown process with the push of a single button.

Prior to joining IntraLogic Solutions, Mr. Perna started and grew several private sector companies to build their brands both across the United States and internationally. This is the experience that he continues to use today to facilitate growth at IntraLogic Solutions. Mr. Perna lives in Roslyn with his wife and three children.

Matt Carrique

Chief of Staff

IntraLogic Solutions An innovative thinker and problem solver, Matt Carrique was one of the first staff members to join IntraLogic Solutions shortly after the company was founded by Lee Mandel. Mr. Carrique has played an integral role in the growth of the company and continues to lead strategic initiatives as part of its management team. As Chief of Staff, he organizes all departments and supervises the company’s operational team and management staff, which has grown to more than 70 individuals. He leverages his more than 10 years of experience and knowledge as a serial entrepreneur who has successfully grown businesses to support IntraLogic Solutions’ strategic goals.

With an emphasis on Human Resources, Mr. Carrique has been instrumental in curating and building IntraLogic Solutions’ corporate culture as the company has expanded. His skills in HR and talent acquisition have played a critical role in supporting the growth and sustainability of the company. He is responsible for managing HR and payroll policies and for ensuring that the company remains competitive and in compliance with all mandates.

A leader and seasoned business executive, Mr. Carrique has a unique perspective on developing strategies and running operations in multiple departments, which include sales project management, finance, and IT and software development as well Human Resources. He is always seeking to enhance performance and leverage innovation and technology. The IntraLogic Solutions team recognizes he is a leader who supports and problem solves with both fellow C-level executives and coworkers from all departments.

Mr. Carrique is committed to leading by example and is always willing to do the work to solve an issue. A people-oriented leader, he is understanding, approachable, and open to hearing new ideas.

A graduate of Adelphi University with a BA in Communications who went on to receive a Masters Degree in Public Communications from Fordham University, Mr. Carrique lives in Massapequa, New York with his wife and daughter

Mark Simson

CFO

Mark Simson joined IntraLogic Solutions in 2019 as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he oversees all financial reporting, accounting, and controls. He is an integral part of the company’s leadership team and heads initiatives that support the company’s growth goals. Mr. Simson is recognized for his ability to examine the big-picture and identify opportunities. He is skilled at creating and implementing effective programs, systems, and facilities that meet organizational objectives and drive business growth. Equipped with expertise in business restructuring, acquisitions, and integration, he is adept at managing group dynamics and leading high-caliber teams of professionals.

Mr. Simson joined IntraLogic Solutions with a strong background in business restructuring, acquisition, and integration; system implementation and re-engineering; and business strategy development along with procedures implementation. He is leveraging this background to support the company’s expansion into new markets and its goal of building new relationships with strategic partners.

He is leading teams at IntraLogic Solutions that support and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors. With his team, Mr. Simson fosters a collaborative environment that is driving Company success.

Prior to joining IntraLogic Solutions, Mr. Simson served as COO and CFO at DTiQ in Framingham, MA where he oversaw the administration of daily financial reporting. He also provided leadership to the daily business operations of its Las Vegas and Poland-based offices and with the implementation of its cost-reduction and efficiency programs.

Mr. Simson also served as COO and CFO of World Wide Security in Garden City, NY, is a former Vice President and CFO of iVerify US, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, and was Director for Triax Capital Advisors in New York, NY.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York in Albany, NY, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He currently resides in Commack, NY.

Mark Grossman

COO

Mark Grossman is IntraLogic Solutions’ Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for all day-to-day company activities, initiatives, and client interactions. As a key member of the company's strategic planning and leadership team, he works closely with CEO Lee Mandel to support the company’s mission and growth. Mr. Grossman leverages his more than 30 years of experience in the security and technology sector to build relationships, create opportunities and continue IntraLogic Solutions’ growth as a premier company in the security technology industry.

Prior to joining IntraLogic Solutions in 2021, Mr. Grossman led the engineering, operations, and customer experience efforts for Eyewitness Surveillance (EWS), a private equity-backed national security, operations, business intelligence, and safety integrator. He also served as Vice President of Branch Operations for ASG Security and an SDM Top 10 private equity-backed company.

Mr. Grossman began his career as an installation technician with ADT Security and has held positions of increasing scope as well as responsibility over the years. These experiences have given him a first-person perspective regarding operational and administrative challenges that leaders and teams face. He is using this knowledge to enhance IntraLogic Solutions’profitability and efficiency as well as solidify the company's position as a leader in the security technology sector.

Mr.Grossman earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland’s A.James Clark School of Engineering. He served as the Chairman of the Electronic Security Association’s Installation and Service Professionals Committee for three years.

Steve Gage

Chief Product Officer

Steve Gage has over 25 years of experience in successfully building startups and growth-stage companies. As IntraLogic Solutions’ Chief Product Officer, he works with a dynamic team of developers, designers, and experts to create and perfect existing and new security technology products for the company. As a member of the corporate leadership team, he collaborates with executives in support of the company’s mission and strategic goals.

As a leading developer of security software and technology for schools, businesses, and the public sector, IntraLogic is known for providing leading-edge technology solutions and cost-effective products. Steve works with his internal team and the company’s clients to optimize products, measure their impact, and drive change and innovation. Steve leverages his background and in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services to enhance customer experiences and achieve business growth goals.

Prior to joining IntraLogic Solutions, Steve served as VP of Collaboration Strategy and Solutions for Dimension Data, a wholly-owned NTT Group company, where he was responsible for the Global Collaboration and Portfolio strategy. Steve was also a Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Teliris, one of the industry pioneers of Telepresence, where he was responsible for Technology Strategy, Product, and R&D functions.

Steve started his career in the networking industry and served as Director Network Practice for Mycroft, Inc. a Network Infrastructure and Identity Management Consulting Company.

Steve attended Columbia University School of Engineering and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, City University of NY(CUNY).

He lives in Merrick with his wife and his dog.
